Marginless requires an iPad running iPadOS 16 or later. It is optimised for iPad Pro (all sizes), iPad Air, and the standard iPad. For the best experience — including Apple Pencil drawing — we recommend a Pencil-compatible iPad running the latest iPadOS.

Yes — Marginless is built around Apple Pencil. Pressure-sensitive strokes, palm rejection, and the custom ink engine are all designed for Pencil input. Finger drawing is also fully supported for quick sketches.

Not yet. Marginless is iPad-first and currently stores all notes locally on your device. Mac and iPhone versions, along with optional sync, are on our roadmap. We'll update this page when they're available.

You can export any note as a PDF from the share sheet inside the app. For a full backup of all your notes, enable iCloud Backup in iOS Settings — it will include Marginless app data in your regular device backup.

Yes. Tap the + button in the library and choose "Import PDF". The PDF opens as a note where you can ink directly on each page with the full pen, pencil, marker, and lasso toolset.

While a note is open, tap the title pill at the top of either pane. That pane transforms into a live library browser — browse your folders, tap a note to open it, and both panes update. You can return to the previous note at any time.

Pricing details will be announced when Marginless launches on the App Store. There is no subscription currently. We'll post all pricing information here when available.
